Professor Zvonko Pešić as a panelist on the topic “Magnetic Attraction of Talents” at the Vukovar Business Forum – meeting G2.12
As part of the Vukovar Business Forum – Meeting G2.12 conference, one of the most important business events in eastern Croatia, Zvonko Pešić—a professor, entrepreneur, and long-time initiator of educational and development projects in Croatia—will participate in the panel titled “Magnetic Attraction of Talents.”
Professor Pešić is the owner and director of the Šibenik Private Gymnasium and the St. Lawrence Center of Excellence in Šibenik, as well as the founder of the company Cromovens d.o.o. Over several decades of work, he has left a significant mark in the fields of education, local community development, ecology, and international cooperation.
As a long-standing professor of mathematics and physics, a school principal, and the initiator of numerous educational projects, Pešić is particularly recognized for creating innovative educational models and linking knowledge with the economy. He has participated in many European programs such as Comenius and Erasmus+, and has organized international study trips dedicated to the impact of education and science on economic development.
His work is also characterized by projects of great social significance—ranging from the revitalization of the Šibenik hinterland after the Homeland War and humanitarian and educational programs for students, to the founding of the Faculty of Energy and Environmental Protection in Šibenik. A standout project is the restoration of the monastery and the St. Lawrence Medieval Garden, which has become one of Šibenik’s recognizable cultural and tourist landmarks.
On the panel “Magnetic Attraction of Talents,” Professor Pešić will discuss the role of education in social development, the importance of creating an environment that retains young and talented people, and how innovative educational models can become a key factor in the development of local communities and the economy.
With the participation of Professor Pešić, the Vukovar Business Forum further confirms its role as a platform that connects the economy, education, and development initiatives with the aim of creating a sustainable future for Croatia.
