The City of Vukovar is located right on the border of Schengen, the Eurozone, and the European Union, which is a strategic location for trade with Southeast Europe, as well as easier access to the workforce from the same area.

Connection to 2 European transport corridors - Corridor X (A3 motorway) and Corridor Vc (A5 motorway)

Vukovar is connected by a freight railway line to the port of Rijeka, which indirectly gives it access to the Mediterranean.

The Vukovar Economic Zone has developed and equipped land plots, as well as possibilities for communal contribution exemption and communal fee reduction. The opening of another new business zone will follow soon!

The Port of Vukovar, through the Rhine-Main-Danube river system, has access to the markets of Central and Northern Europe with transport times cut in half compared to the ports of Rijeka and Koper. Transport time to the port of Rotterdam is half as long compared to Rijeka or Koper.

The city policy of exemption or reduction of communal contributions and fees, combined with business zones and the status of special state concern, gives Vukovar a unique advantage in terms of tax competitiveness compared to the rest of Croatia.
