Petar Štefanić to moderate the international business conference Vukovar Business Forum – G2.12

One of Croatia’s most prominent journalists and communications experts, Petar Štefanić, will moderate this year’s edition of the international business conference Vukovar Business Forum – G2.12. His extensive journalistic experience, combined with years of expertise in hosting public debates and high-level conferences, will further enhance the quality of the program and the dynamics of the panel discussions, which will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, and public sector representatives.

Petar Štefanić was born in 1973 in Podgorica. He graduated in Philosophy and Linguistics from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zagreb and has built a distinguished professional career through nearly two decades in the media industry.

He began his journalistic journey in 2001 at Croatian Radio. In 2005, he joined Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT), where he became the host and editor of the prestigious political show Otvoreno, one of the most-watched political programs in the country. Following that success, he edited and hosted a series of well-known political magazines on public television, including Post Scriptum, Dossier.hr, Spektar, and Labirint. During this period, he also worked as a journalist for HRT’s central news program (Dnevnik), as a reporter for the show Latinica, and as an editor and anchor for the evening news.

In 2016, he joined N1 Television, where he spent three years hosting and editing the evening talk show Pressing. On this program, which aired three times a week, Štefanić hosted numerous influential figures from Croatian social, political, and cultural life, as well as leaders from the business and sports sectors.

In the field of moderation, he is particularly recognized for his participation in numerous regional events, including major technology conferences such as Bug Future Show, Debug, and Windays, as well as the Weekend Media Festival and Greencajt, an event dedicated to sustainability and green policies.

His vast experience in leading public discussions and moderating complex topics guarantees a high-quality, dynamic debate at the Vukovar Business Forum – G2.12. This year’s forum will gather domestic and international business leaders from May 21st to 23rd to address vital topics concerning the economy, investments, and cooperation.
